I worked at Catalent for two years in college. I learned more hands-on about Lean/Six Sigma. I learned how to work in teams and interact with different coworkers. In healthcare, you work with many people and teams. Also, you do a lot of problem-solving and adapting to new processes. The classes I took in my major helped me improve my job at Catalent.

Summer Camp Counselor
July 2020 & 2021
Being a camp counselor helped me learn more about leadership, decision-making, and conflict resolution. I had to lead my group of kids to different activities and teach them rules on how to play games. I had to make quick decisions because you can only do so many activities in a day. When kids are upset I learn what worked best to get them to explain their feelings so that way we can have more time for fun. In healthcare, you are going to be leading patients or other coworkers to get tasks done. Conflict resolution is a great way to make amends to coworkers.
General Motors
June-August 2019
General Motors was my first internship. I learn about manufacturing and different jobs in an office setting. I wanted to learn more about different job titles to see where I fit best in an office. I got to scan the majority of their blueprints online to help preserve their blueprints. Learned my first work assignments in Excel.
April 2024
I love to volunteer at different organizations. I recently helped plant trees on the IU Indianapolis campus. By having more trees on campus can help with the environment and persons mental health. Nonprofits do a good job of providing health services to the community.
